The EUROPA Working Group on parallel C++ has been formed with a view to defining a standard framework for parallel C++ systems. The members of this Working Group come from a variety of backgrounds---researchers into parallel C++ , hardware vendors, compiler writers and end user application developers. Input has also been taken from other (non-participating) parallel C++ users and researchers.
