The Evil Empires League

  1. Apple — for being a bully and a patent troll, not to mention promoting totally closed computer-based system where Apple is the final, and only, arbiter of what you may or may not do with equipment you have bought.
  2. Microsoft — for being a bully and a patent troll, not to mention using any and all tactics to maintain a monopoly in the face of their product clearly being inferior.
  3. Oracle — for being a bully and a patent troll, and using any and all tactics to extract monies using assets even if that means what looks like extortion.
  4. Google — for doing evil despite the company motto, and for trying to own all your data.
  5. Amazon — for wanting to own all your data, at least that which isn't already owned by Google.
  6. The USA Patent System &mdash for allowing anything to be patented thereby ensuring that the large corporations can remain in charge of everything, and especially the control of change.
  7. The EU Patent Office &mdash for trying to enforce the USA patent system on the whole of Europe.
  8. Dell — for claiming to sell workstations and laptops running Ubuntu and then refusing to offer any for sale. (You try buying a Dell with Ubuntu instead of Windows.)
